| Usually, the Potomac river is beautiful. Occasionally, it is awesome. On February 25th, the Potomac was nearly at flood stage (9.1 feet) on a cold February morning. I had Great Falls Park to myself and my camera. The combination of the chocolate brown water, the white snow, the dark granite, and the ice provided me with an opportunity to enjoy what I call River Art. You will have to like moving water to enjoy this. |
