We arrived in Hammerfest at 05:00. The world's northernmost "town". There are "villages" further north - and the northernmost "city" further south |

They roam the streets and eat the grass and flowers - just like the deer at home! Both males and females have large antlers. |

We were not sure whether the fences on the hills above the town were for snow control or drying codfish - or both. Notice the absence of trees. |
