People move around on the vaporetto (water bus) shown in the center. It runs 24 hours a day on the major canals and holds 50 or more people with many stations. |

The gondolas are also used to ferry people across the canals. Usually everybody stands up. (We did not see any people swimming by design or accident). |

We went to two concerts in this church surrounded by paintings and statues and entertained by the music of Vivaldi (Four Seasons) as well as Mozart and Rosini. The piano and clavier are in the foreground. |
