A great deal of tiger tracking is waiting and watching. We were rewarded richly this last day as you may see below:

![]() These are all tigers in the wild. Please note that no person had been injured or killed by a tiger since the day we arrived (Feb 23). A woman was killed on our first day by a 6 month old tiger cub while the woman was collecting firewood in the park. For this reason no tourists are even allowed to get out of a vehicle (except to get onto the elephants).

By this time a view of a tiger like this may not seem like much, but this is one that Joyce saw before anybody else. He was resting about 30 feet off the road. We waited for over an hour for him to move on so we could get a better view ----he did not move!! |
