Flight to
China
Bob and Joyce in China
September 12-13, 2005
Our flight to China was non-stop from Chicago to Beijing. We departed at noon and arrived at 14:15 China time the next day. The sun never set. We flew straight north over Green Bay, WI , over the western side of Hudson Bay, then about halfway from Northern Alaska and the North Pole, into Siberia, Mongolia, and into Beijing. Just the sound of this is fascinating. The weather over the Arctic permitted a few photos of the ice. Very cool!!
