| For
the past few months we have been informed that the Cicadas that have been
resting for 17 years would return by the second weekend in May. On May 13, I
noticed the first one on my porch and then found more in abundance.
The long expected sounds are faintly heard today (May 13) in the distance. By early afternoon, I could find no sign of the insects anymore, nor could the sounds be heard. I enjoy close-up photography and these nifty creatures are quite patient and photogenic...... |
